Man beachte den literarisch-cineastischen Namen des Arztes. Vielleicht wohnt die Dame ja doch in der Chain Bridge Road, McLean (Virginia, USA).

Hinter dieser herzergreifend unsinnigen E-Mail steckt natürlich ein Versuch, die persönlichen Daten des Empfängers zu erhalten. Vielleicht kommt danach noch ein kleiner Betrugsversuch (Portokosten für die Geldtruhen?), das wollte ich aber nicht wirklich ausprobieren.

Bei allem Schenkelklopfen ist aber auch ein Wort der Warnung angebracht. Mir werden immer wieder Fälle bekannt, in denen Menschen auf solche E-Mails hereinfallen und teilweise sogar Geld überweisen (siehe auch Nigeria Connection goes Blogspam). Daher nochmal: Erbschaften dieser Art, kreative Jobangebote ("best of" kommt in Kürze) und anderen Unsinn einfach löschen.
